This animal kingdom let’s go ape is a poem I wrote over the summer to honor the animals and animals that don’t get to live anymore. I hope you enjoy it either way.
I love the way you guys are using the “awe” word in the title. It’s about a lot of animals that are still out there and yet we’ve forgotten about, so that’s pretty epic.

Animal Kingdom’s new trailer shows that the creatures we call animals are very well thought out. They are complex species with a large variety of different capabilities. The trailer also shows how their behavior is influenced by the needs of their animal kingdom (in this case the apes).
the problem with animal kingdom is that it’s based on the idea that animals are just animals. They are not. We are so aware of how much we have in common with animals and the things we share in common with them, it’s impossible for us to separate our own ideas from their ideas. We share a desire to live outside of society, but we also have the capacity to see into the world of animals.
When people are aware of the similarities they share with animals in terms of our desires and the things that we share in common with them, we can get to the core of what makes us human. We can learn to live outside of society and find the power to live in a state of peace. When we see how similar we are to animals, we can start to see just how far we have come.
When animals are in cages and we’re out in nature, we’re not aware of the fact that it’s killing them. However, when we see the damage they are doing to the environment and the animals that are close by, we can see the difference in our behavior.
