I recently found out that my cat, who has had a hard life with being abandoned by its previous owner, is still very much in need of a lot of attention and attention is what it needs for it to thrive. So, to help her feel better, I decided to offer her some goats milk.
I’m sure that many of my readers are familiar with the process of giving an animal a lot of attention but I wanted to provide you with a little background on the process so that you may understand it, too. To give an animal a lot of attention, the animal will “treat” the attention, giving it attention, while still not giving it much. I know I’m a little biased since my cat is my best friend, but I can’t help it.
First, there is a lot of confusion about the difference between attention and affection. The most basic definition of affection is to give the animal some attention, while attention is more like a physical embrace. I think this is what most people mean when they refer to attention. But the confusion stems from the use of the word affection with other words. An affectionate pet (like a dog) will often give the animal a lot of attention.
In the case of cats, its not the affection that they give to the dog that I can say is “more like a physical embrace”, its the affection they give to the dog that I can think of as a “bond”.
While I do agree that cats make excellent pets, I think it is important to realize that their devotion to the dog is more a physical hug than it is a romantic affection. As you can imagine, I am not a fan of the “cuddle” concept, but this is a common phrase with cats, and it’s not always the case. The best cats are the ones that are happy, healthy, and happy to be with the most amount of people.
Not that I think that is the case for cats. A lot of times, my cats are the exact opposite. They do not love me and they do not want to be with me. They may be more content to be with their humans and less content to be with other cats, but that is because they think that is the best way to make sure their humans are happy.
Sometimes cats are just miserable. Sometimes you just have to ask them to do things and they will show you how to do them. I think the best way to make sure a cat is happy or not miserable is to teach them how to do a couple of things. This goes in the same direction that most of our studies have proven that dogs learn better in a safe environment. The best way to teach cats how to love you is to teach them how to love you in a safe environment.
It’s the same way with cats. When you get them alone, make sure that they are comfortable and that they understand what they are doing. If they want some attention or affection they will learn by watching you do things and by watching you have fun. If you don’t know what to do, ask them. A cat is not really going to respond to a question like that, but rather they will be happy to learn something new all on their own.
A lot of cats are great at hiding how much they really like you. They may not be very vocal, but they will let you know how much you are appreciated. That being said, if you are trying to get them to love you, it is important to make sure that they are comfortable in your presence. They can be very protective of their territory and that is a wonderful thing to have happen.
The “what if” question, how would you go about making your cat love you? It can be hard to know what to do, but what I would try to do is use the same game that you play with your cat to get your cat to want to go to sleep. While cats are very smart, they are also very territorial. So if your cat is going to start sleeping in a certain spot, you may need to find another place where he is comfortable and safe.
